WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO LEARN?

We're going to spend the entire day looking at 4 really important topics which will help you improve your analysis and communication skills, create happier clients, and make you more money into the bargain. Isn't that just what you and your business need?

1. Advanced colour analysis techniques

If you've been struggling to fathom out which drapes to use, or finding that you're confusing your client (or yourself) in a colour analysis situation, we'll look at some different methods, tips and techniques to help you improve and refine the way you diagnose any or all of these:

• cool vs. warm
• your client’s dominant tonal characteristic
• a full seasonal analysis

I’ll be sharing lots of my own insider secrets on how to identify the different characteristics quickly. Some of them will challenge your thinking, and some of them will give you that ‘Oh, yes, I can see it now!’ moment.

Over the last 30 years, I have learnt what works for me and what doesn't. I have also discovered what works for other successful consultants, even if I can't work that way myself. I'll share what I know with you so that you will become more confident with your own colour analyses.

2. Does your client have a clue what you're talking about?

You could know everything on the planet that there is to know about colour, fashion, style, etc. but if you can't get what you know across to your client in a way that SHE understands it, then your knowledge is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Being a professional consultant means knowing how to communicate effectively with every single type of client.

You'll learn first about YOUR learning style - Visual, Auditory or Kinaesthetic - and then how to work with clients who learn in a completely different way from you.

Let's make sure that all that amazing knowledge and advice you have to share with your client is not only relevant to what YOU see but that she actually sees it too!

A happy, un-confused client who totally 'gets' what you and she have discussed will tell all her friends about the fantastic experience she has had with you and as a result, both your business and income will grow and grow.

3. How to get more clients, more business, and more money

It's absolutely fine and dandy being a world expert at colour analysis but it's utterly useless if you haven't any clients to practise your skills on.

I've spent three decades doing it both the wrong and right way and finally fathomed out what makes a successful and profitable business. I've spent thousands of pounds and hundreds of days learning what brings new customers in and how to help my existing clients develop into fabulously confident women.

I will share with you some easy-to-implement ways to:

• find new customers
• develop a long-term business relationship with existing clients
• earn more money

4. Ask all your questions (no matter how daft they seem) and get real answers

You’ll be invited to send in your questions before the event to make sure we cover the most important / common questions in a Question & Answer session. As the day progresses, you're bound to think of other questions too.

It doesn't matter how silly your question might seem, someone else will be very glad that you asked it, so please start writing them down now.

• Every single question raised before and during the day will be documented together with the answer in a written Q & A portfolio which I will compile and send to you after the event
• As for those questions that we don’t get to cover on the day itself, I will personally answer those separately and include them in the Q & A portfolio

The Advanced Colour Analysis Training Day will be held in Chesterfield at an hotel as we will be recording the event. Please read our terms If you hate the thought of being photographed or videoed, please let us know before you arrive. We will do our best to make you feel as comfortable as possible, but we also want to make sure that others will be able to benefit from the fantastic content of this Advanced Training Day. 

We have a large number of consultants throughout both the UK and the world who just can’t get to a live event.  By recording this, we can give them access to the same level of Advanced Colour Analysis Training as you.

What else is included?

• Improvability course Diploma in Advanced Colour Analysis
• All refreshments - pastries with morning coffee and fat scones with cream in the afternoon!
• Buffet lunch

How much is this going to cost?

My business mentor took one look at the content of this training day and declared that I should charge around £1,000 per person. He also tried to talk me out of including the DVD as a free bonus - we'll be selling it separately for £497. But I really felt that it was important for you to be able to look again at some of the content later on, especially if that's your particular learning style!

So, if we tot up what you're actually getting, the fee could easily have been £1,497 but I've decided on a final fee of £497. Note: These fees all include EU VAT sales tax because even if you fly in from the moon, you still have to pay VAT for any training that takes place on UK soil!

What this day is NOT

Let's get this clear from the outset - this is NOT a quick way to learn colour analysis.

• I will assume that everyone on the course has already trained in or already understands and practises the fundamentals of seasonal or tonal colour analysis

This is not about you having your colours done either!

• I can't believe I'm having to say this but we once had an idiot who complained after a similar day's advanced training that she had not received a full personal colour consultation!
• Yes, you will get chance to wield your drapes on a willing volunteer, and someone else may wield their drapes on you, but no, you will not receive a full personal colour consultation at all!
• This isn't about your colours; this is about your business, your colour analysis skills, and how to give a better service to your clients so that you earn more money

Colour supplies - drapes, wallets, etc.

I DO NOT RUN A FRANCHISE so colour supplies, drapes, swatch wallets, etc. are not included in any fees or supplied on the Advanced Colour Analysis Training Day.

If you would like to get involved in the practical sessions, then please bring your own drapes with you. You're going to be so much more comfortable working with the tools you're going to use when you get back home anyway!

Gosh, I wish I'd had had chance to go on a course like this when I was starting out all those hundreds of years ago. I'd have saved so much time and money on silly marketing ideas that didn't work. I'd have been able to ask all those daft little questions that niggled away at me for years and years.
