2 days Colour Analysis Skills Training
which will cover all you need to start offering colour consultations immediately, followed by

COURSE CONTENT
Understanding the theory of colour and the practical aspects of how colour affects every part of our lives will help you to show your clients which hues, shades, tints and tones will make them look absolutely gorgeous - all the time! You will learn:
- a simple method of Tonal and Seasonal colour analysis that is easy for everyone to understand (that's both you and your client!)
- how the two systems can work alone - or together, if you prefer
Practical work
There will be plenty of opportunity for practical work, including your own colour analysis (it's rather important that YOU look good, don't you think?). You'll learn how to use the drapes for those 'in front of the mirror' sessions, but I'll also show you how to do colour analysis without a drape in sight! As you practise and grow in confidence, you'll be able to diagnose anyone's colouring correctly with a quick 'in the back of your head' analysis. This will establish you as an absolute expert and I'll also show you how this technique could prove to be your best marketing tool. And to put your mind at rest, we'll look at how to run your colour consultations from start to finish - what to include and what to definitely avoid. This may be different for each individual consultant and will depend heavily on what we discover from your personal psychological profile!
Colour Psychology
We'll also do a psychological profile of YOU to discover more about your personality, what makes you tick, what makes you happy, and this will give you some great pointers as to exactly who you should be working with, how to communicate effectively with your clients, and what kind of business you should be putting your energies into.
This is a simple, fun approach to colour personality profiling, which you will then be able to use in your own consultations to help you give an amazingly different-from-anyone-else service to your own clients.
We'll also look at how to:
- select the right shades of make-up for your client or how NOT to include make-up in your consultations at all, if you prefer!
- help those clients who are don't fit easily into one of the 4 Seasonal types
- advise your clients on current fashion trends
- show your client how to wear 'hard to wear' colours - what if the poor darling HAS to wear black at work but it normally makes her look ill? We have the solution and, by the end of the Skills course, so will you!
We are going to put the client first
I will show you how to work out what your client really wants from the consultation, and how to deliver exactly what SHE wants. I am not going to give you a checklist of subjects that you must go through with each client. If you want that approach, please go somewhere else.
A bored, confused client who has been treated like a number will moan about you to lots and lots of people. A happy client who has been treated like royalty will recommend you to everyone she knows. Your business - what type of business do YOU choose?
We are in the business of communication
You could know everything on the planet that there is to know about colour, fashion, style, etc. but if you can't get what you know across to your client in a way that SHE understands it, then your knowledge is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
We'll look at how NOT bore to death or confuse your client (or yourself) with irrelevant image-speak, interminable draping, and unnecessary information. You'll learn first about YOUR learning style and then how to work with clients who learn in a completely different way from you. Let's make everything you tell her interesting, relevant, fun, and useful!
